1. Who we are

VouchReview Inc ("VouchReview", "we", "us", "our") operates vouchreview.com and related services. We are headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. For privacy matters, contact us at privacy@vouchreview.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

• Account information: Your name, email address, password (hashed), profile photo and country of residence when you register.
• Identity verification: For verified accounts, government-issued ID documents processed through our secure verification partner. These are not stored on our servers after verification is complete.
• Business information: For business accounts, company name, address, phone number, website, registration documents and VAT/tax numbers where applicable.
• Usage data: Pages visited, searches performed, reviews written, businesses viewed and interactions with the platform.
• Device and technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system and referral source.
• Communications: Emails you send to our support team and responses to reviews.
• Payment information: For business subscriptions, billing details are processed by our payment partner (Stripe) and never stored directly by VouchReview.

3. How we use your information

• To create and manage your VouchReview account
• To verify the authenticity of reviews and business listings
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password resets, review notifications)
• To improve the platform through anonymised usage analytics
• To prevent fraud, spam and abuse of our platform
• To comply with legal obligations
• To process payments for business subscriptions (via Stripe)

4. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

For users in the European Economic Area and UK, our legal bases for processing are: Contract (to provide our service), Legitimate interests (to improve the platform and prevent fraud), Consent (for marketing communications), and Legal obligation (compliance with applicable law).

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Service providers: Stripe (payments), our verification partner, email delivery services — all under strict data processing agreements.
• Legal authorities: Only when required by law, court order or to protect the safety of our users.
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred with appropriate notice.

6. Your rights

• Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Update inaccurate or incomplete information
• Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data ("right to be forgotten")
• Portability: Export your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Withdrawal: Withdraw consent for marketing at any time

7. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Reviews you write remain on the platform unless you delete them. After account deletion, anonymised aggregate data may be retained for statistical purposes. Verification records are deleted within 30 days of successful verification.

8. Security

We use AES-256 encryption for data at rest, TLS 1.3 for data in transit, regular penetration testing and ISO 27001-aligned security practices. We conduct annual security audits and notify affected users within 72 hours of any data breach.

10. International transfers

Your data may be processed in the UAE, USA and EU. We ensure appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses for EU data) are in place for all international transfers.

We will notify you by email 30 days before any material changes to this Privacy Policy. Continued use of VouchReview after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

1. Acceptance

By creating a VouchReview customer account, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

2. Your account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate information when registering, including your real name and email address
• You may not create multiple accounts or share your account with others
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

3. Writing reviews — your responsibilities

VouchReview exists to provide honest, trustworthy reviews. When you write a review, you confirm that:

• It is based on genuine personal experience with the business being reviewed
• It is truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge
• You have not been paid, incentivised or coerced to write a positive or negative review
• You are not an employee, owner or competitor of the business being reviewed
• It does not contain defamatory, harassing or illegal content
• It does not contain personal data of other individuals (phone numbers, addresses, etc.)

4. Prohibited conduct

• Posting fake, fabricated or misleading reviews
• Writing reviews for businesses you have never used
• Accepting payment or incentives to write reviews (positive or negative)
• Coordinating with others to manipulate a business's rating
• Harassing, threatening or abusing business owners or other users
• Attempting to scrape or extract data from VouchReview
• Using automated tools or bots to create reviews or interact with the platform
• Impersonating another person or organisation

5. Content licence

By submitting a review, you grant VouchReview a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to display, reproduce and use your review content on the platform and in promotional materials. You retain ownership of your content. We will attribute reviews to your display name.

6. Review removal

VouchReview may remove reviews that violate these Terms. You may also delete your own reviews at any time from your account dashboard. We do not remove negative reviews simply because a business requests it — only genuine policy violations lead to removal.

7. Free account

Customer accounts on VouchReview are free. We reserve the right to introduce premium consumer features in the future with appropriate notice.

8. Dispute resolution

If you believe a review has been unfairly removed or your account suspended without cause, contact appeals@vouchreview.com. We aim to respond within 5 business days.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Upon deletion, your reviews will be anonymised and remain on the platform unless you explicitly request their removal.

10. Limitation of liability

VouchReview provides the platform "as is". We are not liable for the accuracy of reviews written by other users or for decisions you make based on reviews on our platform. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed £100.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes shall be resolved by the courts of Dubai.

1. Business registration

To list your business on VouchReview, you confirm that:

• You are authorised to represent the business being listed
• All business information provided is accurate and up to date
• The business is a legitimate, legally operating entity
• You will keep your business information current and accurate
• The business does not violate any applicable laws or regulations

2. Review management

As a business on VouchReview, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You cannot pay to remove negative reviews. Review scores are independent of your paid status.
• You can respond publicly to reviews, but responses must be professional and factual
• You cannot incentivise customers to leave positive reviews in exchange for discounts, gifts or services
• You cannot discourage customers from leaving honest reviews
• Attempting to manipulate your rating will result in immediate account suspension
• You may flag reviews that you believe violate our guidelines — we will investigate and respond within 10 business days

3. Paid plans and billing

• Free listing: Available to all verified businesses at no cost
• Verified plan ($299/year): Includes KYC badge, unlimited reviews, featured listing eligibility and basic analytics
• Pro plan ($799/year): All Verified features plus AI analytics, competitor benchmarking, review alerts and API access
• Featured listings: Billed monthly based on your campaign budget. You set the maximum spend.
• All prices are in USD and exclusive of applicable taxes
• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• Failed payments will result in downgrade to the free plan after 7 days

4. Cancellation and refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Annual subscriptions are eligible for a pro-rata refund within 30 days of purchase
• Ad campaign budgets are charged as consumed — unused budget is refunded on cancellation
• No refunds are issued after 30 days for annual plans

5. Featured listings and advertising

• Featured listings are clearly labelled as "Sponsored" to all users
• Ad placement is determined by bid amount and relevance score
• Ad spend is tracked in real time in your dashboard
• We reserve the right to reject advertising that is misleading or violates our guidelines
• Featured placement has no influence on organic review scores or trust ratings

6. Business profile content

• All information in your business profile must be accurate and not misleading
• Product listings must accurately reflect what you offer, including genuine pricing
• Product images must be your own or properly licensed content
• You may not list products or services that are illegal in your jurisdiction

7. Account suspension

VouchReview may immediately suspend a business account for:

• Attempting to manipulate reviews (writing fake reviews, incentivising reviews)
• Providing materially false business information
• Harassment of customers who leave negative reviews
• Breach of payment obligations
• Operating an illegal business

8. Data and analytics

Analytics data in your dashboard (views, clicks, sentiment) is provided for informational purposes. Historical data may be retained for up to 24 months. Upon account deletion, aggregate anonymised data may be retained for platform improvement.

9. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of all content you submit including product images and descriptions. By submitting content, you grant VouchReview a licence to display it on the platform. You confirm you have the rights to all content submitted.

10. Liability

VouchReview is not liable for loss of business, revenue or reputation arising from reviews posted by customers. Our maximum liability to your business for any claim shall not exceed 3 months of fees paid to VouchReview.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Dubai.

Star rating guide

Review moderation

Our trust and safety team reviews flagged content within 10 business days. Businesses may flag reviews they believe violate our guidelines. Flagging a negative review does not automatically remove it — we investigate independently.

If your review is removed, you will receive an email explaining the reason. You may appeal removals by emailing appeals@vouchreview.com within 30 days.

Consequences of guideline violations

• Review removed without notice
• Account warning issued
• Account suspension (temporary or permanent)
• Legal action in cases of defamation or fraud

1. Permitted use

VouchReview may be used only for its intended purpose of discovering, reviewing and listing legitimate businesses. You may use VouchReview on any personal device through our website or official applications.

2. Prohibited activities

The following are strictly prohibited on VouchReview:

• Review manipulation: Any attempt to artificially inflate or deflate a business's rating, including coordinated review campaigns, paid reviews or review exchange schemes
• Scraping: Automated extraction of data from VouchReview without our written consent
• Hacking: Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform, other user accounts or our infrastructure
• Spam: Sending unsolicited messages to other users or businesses
• Impersonation: Pretending to be another person, business or organisation
• Malware: Uploading or distributing malicious code
• Harassment: Targeting individuals or businesses with repeated negative reviews or abusive messages
• Illegal content: Posting content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or ours
• Circumventing verification: Attempting to bypass our identity verification system
• API abuse: Using our API beyond agreed rate limits or for unauthorised purposes

3. Content standards

All content submitted to VouchReview must:

• Be accurate and not deliberately misleading
• Not infringe third-party intellectual property rights
• Not contain personal data of third parties without their consent
• Not be defamatory, obscene, offensive or discriminatory
• Comply with applicable advertising and consumer protection laws

4. Reporting violations

If you encounter content or behaviour that violates this policy, please report it using the flag button on any review or profile, or email trust@vouchreview.com.

5. Enforcement

Violations of this policy may result in content removal, account suspension, permanent ban or legal action. We reserve the right to take any action we deem appropriate to protect the integrity of the platform and our users.
